Well no response from them. Now they can sort it out with MasterCard, disappointing way to resolve it.

Yes I have learnt my lesson about checking when I get them.
The box was a little crushed, but was well sealed with no visible openings.

I have would posted regardless of outcome, the point was about their orignal stuff up which is rather large, if their rectification is unsatisfactory I was post a follow up.

And I said a little jacked off, it not a complete rant.
Yeah, "attention to detail" You tell 'em, sparky.

Was this thread about missing parts and a lack of follow up customer service - or grammatical errors? Pity your not working at the supplier, then this thread would not have existed.....

apparently it's about throwing around insults and slander towards a well-known supplier with a good reputation without bothering to give them a chance to rectify the situation before the original posting.

not much good for the Brisbane (Qld, Australia) based OP.

Are KTMCyclehutt really that bad? they do ship internationally.
There are enough people on this board if you really wanted to I am sure someone would be willing to get the order for you and then forward it to you overseas.

Hell I will be willing to do it, I also have a commercial account with UPS which makes it a little easier.

Maybe this service needs to be set up hmmm....

Lousy attention to detail, one or two items, but 7? Not so worried about the money it is about $200 worst comes to worst I will raise a credit card dispute, but the inconvenience is really bad. Hopefully the local bearing suppliers can help me.

I don't see anything slanderous about the original post. He placed an order and didn't reciee what he ordered and was charged for. The only claim he makes is "lousy attention to detail" which he should be allowed to claim even if he hasn't placed an overseas call not on a Monday yet.

Good customer service will see this matter cleared up quickly and to the customers satisfatio by KTM-parts.com. If so, I suspect we will hear about that here and if not, I'm sure we will hear about it again.

CodyY, exactly what insults or slander did you read here?

(I usually would not use a public forum to conduct buisness matters, but I feel it is appropriate in this case)

Sir,

Thank you for bringing your complaint to our attention; albeit on a public forum. Please contact me as soon as possible regarding your order; you should have multiple messages in your personal email.

If we have made a mistake we would be happy to rectify it. Before doing so I need to know what exact items were missing, and determine where they may be.

Also if you review our shipping policies at Our fact page (we only ship ktm hard parts to US addresses, per KTM N.A. policies), it means that maybe you utilized an outside company to export the parts to you. Since they often repackage before export, I assume you have contacted them also about this issue?

Again many factors could be at play here; and we are always more than happy to correct what we can, when we can. Just please contact us and give me a chance to fix this. You may reply to our email attempts, or contact me here. But my included office information below would probably lead to the quickest attention.

Also thank you to the inmate that let us know about this post; so that we could address the issue ASAP.

Sincerely,

Michael

yup. I went so far as to click "SUPPORT" on your webpage and copy/paste the link to this thread.

damn, that was tough, maybe in Australia the "support" button is on the right side of the screen?

Just further follow up.

I have received further correspondence from ktm-parts.com, but no resolution as yet, they have asked me to check with the freight forwarder. Hopefully we can get there.

Also I have been advised that some e-mails from their call logging system have not been delivered as expected. I am now checking the call logging system daily as we work through this.

Michael thanks for your reply here and very speedy follow up reply to my e-mail, hopefully we can get this sorted. Just FYI I don't pay my freight forwarder a repacking fee, just the base amount (I use Bongo).

a) I am just a little annoyed, not foaming at the mouth, it is the inconvenience of not having the parts here more than the cost and that was what OP was about, satisfactory outcome or not.
b) I am a little annoyed about the turn around time on the responses, given my initial email to them was on Thursday morning (25th).
c) That factually reporting my issues is not slander.
d) I am using the support system.

I do agree that 'lousy attention to detail' was unnecessary and unhelpful and I withdraw that without reservation.

At this stage, given the nature of what has been expressed by ktm-parts.com both here and in personal correspondence, I am hopeful of a satisfactory outcome.

www.ktm-parts.com is not one of them however, refer to that support link that apparently I can't find because I am a dumb Aussie.

Just a further follow up.

After doing some digging with the freight forwarder and reviewing their paperwork against the ktm-parts.com invoice it is possible that the items were lost in transit between ktm-parts.com and my freight forwarder.

As I said earlier the box was quite damaged, but well sealed. It is possible that the damage occurred in transit to Bongo and they have resealed the box without throughly checking the paperwork against the items.

I have requested that this thread be removed, it paints ktm-parts.com in much worse light than I intended, judging by the responses in it.

Apparently a little jacked off (or a little pissed off) comes through as these guys are the biggest bunch of a/holes and I will never deal with them again. Neither is the case.

that is the danger of posting on a forum. if you do post these things you need to be extremely selective in your wording. You are safer not to post until you have either resolution or are facing a real issue.
