Just got back from the Eastern Rendezvous, or Rick's Rendezvous as it is now called. Couple hundred photos and a few hours worth of video footage to sort through, edit and post. Hell, I might be done just in time to head to BYOB.

About 10.5 hours. Decided to take the fastest route available without hitting the interstate. No lunch stop keeps the average speed up nicely.

Oof...Friday night was somewhat of the hook. Saturday ride was kind of short, but still got a few nice pictures.

The ride did not end well for all. No major worries though, both the rider and the bike will be on the road again.

No pictures worth a crap from the ride home. My mind was on getting home through the heat more than it was on getting more pictures. Great weekend was had and there are still a couple hours worth of video to go through. Sigh...

Here is a little side trip of the Blue Ridge Parkway called Roanoke Mountain Loop. It's about 12 miles south of Roanoke and is worth the time.
