Thursday was the RT 16 and Burke's Garden ride.

Rt 16 Part 1 - heading north out of Hungry Mother State Park.

Rt 16 Part 2 - the second mountain

After running the Dragon's Back (new name to attract the squids), I heading into Burke's Garden on Hwy 623.

I also have video of Hwy 623 heading out the back of Burke's Garden. It is about 35 minutes and needs editing before I post it. Should be good, considering I had to go bush whacking to ride the road.

Last for now is Haven Ridge/Nebo Mountain. Great road with pavement beat up enough to keep most squids away.

...just haven't been doing much recreational riding lately.

I did finally get out for a day ride Saturday. Here are some pictures for ya.

I went over to Michaux SF with a couple of other inmates. Lost one almost immediately due to Bescker Gap Rd beating his bike a little too much. As per normal, I just never got around to actually stopping...

We were not the only people enjoying the last good day before the Frankenstorm starts in.

That's all that I have worth posting. I might have to make another trip next weekend, just to get a before and after storm comparison.

Yeah, it is not looking quite so nice now. Winds about 20 mph and let's just say it is more than a little moist.

First ride of the ride was short mileage, but got lots of pictures. Gonna try to be better about keeping this thread moving this year.

Not exactly The Darth Peach, but I do what I can. BTW, if you have not read her thread, get your ass over there and do so. Right after reading mine, of course.

Trying to get more shots off the bike...

There is a lot of electrical power generated in my area. As most know, I work at Three Mile Island, which is very near where these two shots were taken. There is also the York Haven Hydro-electric plant.

and Brunner Island, a dirt burner, or coal fired plant.

Even in winter, some plants will not give up.

There are three places to cross the Susquehanna River between York and Lancaster Counties. Two of them are between Wrightsville and Columbia. You have the US 30 bridge

and the Wrightsville Bridge

A house that will require more time with the camera
