"Some bozo from Texas," here and reporting in. It goes a bit like this.
Whilst looking on Ebay at military vehicles this lazy Sunday morning with my soon to be driving age son, my cel phone rings.
Me: Hello
Caller: Kelly? This is Chris Blais.
Me: (heart rate racing from 50bpm to 180 before I could say) Who?
Caller: Chris Blais... You won my motorcycle.
Me: No way, really?
Chris: Really! (This went on and on for a minute or 2 before I could say anything else).

It is just now, 8 hours later, seeming real. In fact, for an hour or 2, I was convinced it was a prank from one of my friends. I had to look on this website to believe it myself.
I am stoked, to say the least! Chris was super nice and I am looking forward to meeting him.
The bike is about 1500 miles from here, so I need to work out the logistics of the whole thing but can assure you all it will be well cared for. I will take plenty of pics and share as well.
Anyway, I am excited to have won and am thrilled the funds are going to a good cause.

Hey Rick, it might be a while before I can get pics in person.
Here is a link off Chris' site with a foot peg pic.

CONGRATS KELLY!!!!!! Woooo Hoooooo!! We are so so very excited for you! And thank you for all of your support and for participating.

Don't feel too bad about us parting with ole Betsy... Although I'm sure it may seem bitter-sweet, Chris still has his 2007 "podium" Rally Bike that he will never part with!

All the money from this raffle is going to good use as Chris has and will purchase some more training equipment and spend more time in physical therapy.
As you know, the physical therapy for "athletes" is far different (and way more expensive) than any type of hospital-type "boring" rehab.

Today marks the 5-year Anniversary of Chris' accident and he is much stronger physically, mentally, and spiritually than ever!!!
Much of this has to do with all of the love and support from around the globe and from all of our wonderful friends, customers & supporters! He knows how fortunate of a
human he is to have this kind of support because we feel if every person who has suffered some type of life-changing tragedy had this type of support, there would be no stopping them!!!
We are spoiled, lucky, fortunate and blessed!!

CAN'T WAIT TO MEET YOU KELLY!!!!!!!!!! :)

Congrats Kelly! I'm sure you'll enjoy owning the Rally bike.

Glad to have helped Chris and Gidget with donations just for the chance to win...

I just hate myself for not winning, that's all

You've put it perfectly......Kelly is buying the bike for $1 to make a legal exchange. Who said that dirty "T" word anyway?

Just to update, we were finally able to break away from work so we drove out and met Chris at his shop this past weekend. He was super cordial and a great host. We BS'd about bikes and heard awesome Dakar stories for a good while before I had to load up and drive back. The bike is awesome, you guys should have one too!!!
Anyway, if I can figure out pics, I will do so for those that have asked. I have ridden it and it is great fun. I am still just happy as can be. And if you are around Apple Valley, California, which is not far from Barstow and San Bernardino, check out Blais Racing. He has a cool shop and does offroad bike service and can probably get you fixed up right.
