Gearing commander

So for you guys who are actually running chain and sprockets here is a gearing calculator to help to achieve and/or understand what your bike presently is and what a change may do. So if you wanted a bit more slow speed maneuverability without burning up the clutch this may help or if you were searching for a bit better mileage, or a balance between offroad and onroad. It helped me understand what I have and what is stock and why it revs pretty good at 55MPH. Enjoy!!

Temps are a dropping!

PSA: Ya'll might want to check the specific gravity of your anti-freeze. I think I know of 2 or so Katooms that might need some more anti-freeze.

and just so you don't go thinking I'm just blowing you off...

Getting the fuel tanks off has gotten to be a pretty simple task...Here's the little bastard I'm looking for

it came out easy enough

after getting the fuel pump out, I figured I'd see if there was any visible crap in the tank...Yep
pulled this out....

looking in the tank I saw a good bit more debris, so I rinsed the tank a couple times with clean gas
(hope nobody lights a cigarette near the hedges)

Second stage filter looked horrible..

The first stage filter (Tea bag) didn't look much better
(apparently the new style is a bit bigger then the original)

All reassembled and ready to go back in the tank...

Not much sense putting the tank back on since I still have the other tank to flush out and an oil change to get done...

(and based on the posting times...it looks like it's easier to replace the fuel filters then to change the oil..costs a bit more though)
