I'm disappointed more of you didn't take the opportunity to get a jab in, kind words make me feel guilty... I should atleast of broke something All I can say is "Thank you to Uncle Sams Misguided Children," who taught me how to fall.

Now I'm pissed about the windshield brackets. This is what I got. If anyone has better google-fu than me, please let me know... My cry for help.

1150 GS Tall Windshield

Take away irritating wind noise, fatigue, debris, and rain with our generously sized hardcoated FMR Lexan® polycarbonate replacement windshields. These R1150GS shields are designed to smooth out wind turbulence, protect you from the elements, and offer you a viewing area with superior optical quality to keep you comfortable during your rides.

The ZTechnik Z2240 Replacement Screens is taller and wider than the stock screen. The is actually 100% larger and 7 inches taller than stock.

When it comes to raw materials, not all motorcycle windshields are created equal. ZTechnik makes these windshields from Lexan® FMR polycarbonate for superior impact strength and crack resistence.

So what do you need help with? Are you talking about the plastic side bracket with the knob? Are those Ztechnic or OEM?

Do you have a certain price point you desire or just can't find them anywhere?

Lance, that Ztechnic does not fit on the Adventure unless you replace the mounts. If you look at the Vario screen that Wunderlich sells for the 1150GS, they list all the parts you need to convert the Adventure windshield mount to the standard. I've done it and its pretty easy.

So Rflagg, time to update you location in your profile? If home is where the heart is, 3 of 3 bikes are west of the Mississippi...

I would just say "COS"

Figure here is a good place to start...

after seeing the Zombie Apocalypse Training Camp thread, I though it might be interesting to put together a local rider challenge event

Log crossings
slaloms
balancing events
as well as other non riding adventure rider challenges

possibly next summer???? anyone interested??
