Sharing more crashes

Saw this on GMA and had to share.

Mulholland Drive is located in the Santa Monica mountains of Southern California and it is, without a doubt, one of the best roads in the United States. It snakes back and fourth for miles offering both motorists and cyclists the promise of a great drive. At the top of Mulholland though there is a long uphill left-hand sweeper that is notorious for claiming at least a few motorcyclists every weekend. To add insult to injury, this corner is also the command post for local onlookers as they know if they’re standing there, they’re going to see some action.

Scheduled my foot/ankle surgery today....10 October. I scheduled it far out so not to ruin my riding season. I figure that my last ride of the year will be the Shenandoah 500 and my next ride after that will be New Years day again. Not really looking forward to it but then again it needs to get done.

Here is the link to his SPOT. He won't be using the Track feature but will probably just hit OK at the end of a day's riding.
Tell him congratulations! Thanks for sharing the SPOT link and I look forward to following along. Maybe someday......

was perusing the flea market and ended up buying a redverz waterproof bag to support the "lost for a reason" charity which supports children and families in New Mexico and Arizona. in the exchange of PMs the seller asked that I pass on to the SMARS, SMIBs, etc (and those are the terms he used so we are known in the SW) the website if one is so inclined to donate

http://www.lostforareason.org/Home_Page.html

if you go to their store there are some motorcycle related items from twisted throttle, etc that you can buy and justify it by saying it is for charity.

Tunes Baby!

Tonight is a good night. My iPod and earplugs have been MIA since March timeframe. Frankly, I've been too pissed to think about replacing the setup. This would have been the second time in 3 years of replacing them. Tonight, I was tearing through the house, and low and behold...I find it Now I can listen to tunes again in my helmet.

We'll see how long this lasts, but it appears that Gail is using his blog to post some pictures....

Keep in mind he's never done a ride report before, and he's probably had several beers before getting to this part of his day...

From the four pictures he's posted, I'm ready to head down to Mexico for my next big ride.

Gastone, I showed him your signature block. He had no idea that quote has been there since the trip to Sugar Grove and thought it was pretty funny
Please tell him he is always welcome at the compound.
