So, I go get a permit for the Myrtle Grove shooting range and MD requires your SS#.......what a crock of shit!!!!!!! Oh, and they are good for one year......from July to July and not from the date of purchase, dumb bastards! Rant off. Walmart in La Plata is apparently getting Russian .223 in tuna cans and putting them out for sale tomorrow morning....$120.00 for 500 rds and they apparently go FAST! If you want them the guy said you should be there around 0600.

Well just before I went in for surgery last year Dana's Horse van had a brake line failure, luckily it was in the yard and unloaded. All the metal lines were severely corroded and starting to fail one by one so we decided it was best to just replace them all. Luckily through research Dana did, she found that U-Haul rental reproduces all the metal lines in stainless steel. So we finally figured out which ones we needed and have been slowly replacing them, to include the rubber lines going to the calipers. So it appears that we are finally complete with all the brake lines and the horse hauler is back in service. Its a bit more complicated than you think with a C6500 truck but none the less it is finally complete. Wow does that thing take a lot of brake fluid though, two big bottles and four smaller ones!!!!! The bleeding process was pretty straight forward once I figured out how to make the electric assist work in my favor. One large project done and 4,127 more projects to go.

Oh, and we repaired the wiring the dog chewed up the other day trying to get to the birds nest.

Now some pics...or it didn't happen:

There are always leftover bits from any project...

Ewww, that's not too healthy looking

Nice and shiney now!

Nothing like bleeding an entire swimming pool of DOT4 fluid!

Impressive...nice

kinda feel like I didn't get anything done compared to that.

I did fab up my first attempt of a sun screen for the Wing's GPS...not pretty (duct tape and trash can plastic) but we'll see if the size works well.
