Replacing tires on the Katoom

Bruce: I've got a favor to ask you....I need to replace my rear wheel and was hoping I could use your tire changer. (If it's a problem I'll take the bike to a shop or hope Garrett will go halves on a changer with me). I don't need to do it yet but within the next month or so. Since I've never done this before, I'm going to need all the help and advice I can get.

OK, first things first...did you make a deal on a seat? Second have you looked at the for sale section today because their are a bunch of KTM parts for sale including a sidestand relocation bracket I thought you said you needed.

We can set something up on the tire since you came out and crashed your bike in the mud hole.

Yep, the deal is done! I should get the new seat on Saturday. I sent him the Renazco and he is sending me his gel seat + cash.

I was just looking at buying a sidestand relocation kit from black dog. I'll check out the sale section...

Every time I watch that, I cannot help but laugh. It looks like I hit a wall and just fall over.

Finally had to do it!

I had to rode Dana's bike tonight to try and diagnose a sound. I have held out for 2 years and nearly 37K miles...but I have to say the the F650 is really smooth! It doesn't pull hard like the 1200 or anything but it pulls smooth and consistent...I can see why people like these bikes.

And what about this mysterious noise? did it suddenly go away while you were riding?

I think it is just the knobbies, these are a bit more aggressive than what she is used to.
