T5 is where I stay most of the time. My favs through that level...

T-34
StugIII
su-85
AMX ELC (if it wasn't put in ridiculous games)
KV-1

I won't go above 7. Maybe 8 if I ever get a wild hair and actually buy the t44. I barely play my t43 anymore as it is.

I actually kind of like my church3 as well.I use it a lot of the time as H&I fire. When the matchmaker hates me I switch to playing psychological games instead of worry about getting kills.

I'll sit back out of view range of a choke point, wait for the stuff up front to get engaged and just pour fire through it. Even if I'm not getting penetrations or reliable hits the sheer volume of dust puffing up and pigs of ricochets make it seem like there are more tanks hidden than they can see.

Same with my tier 5 light brit tank. I keep forgettinng the name of that stupid thing, Crusader? It's got the 6 pdr and fires almost as fast as the Church, but with WAY less armor. I put the rammer, binocs and net on it, sneak up quick and hide/scout instead of running around and suiscouting. I'm gonna grind that one to the Cromwell and sit tight on the brit tree.

Last night sucked after the 2x reset. I couldn't get a win on anything. My T25and Patton are still in the 30's% percent win range

Yeah... after losing all my tier 8 battles BADLY last night, I think I'll stick mostly with the Hellcat and T25/2. They're the most fun to play of everything I have. Fast enough, accurate, and do decent damage. Plus they hide well.

Glad to see I wasn't the only one getting my butt kicked last night......took me 4 tries each to get wins on my T34 and T28 Proto. Teams kept folding around me.

And then Recoil and I were on the winning side of a 15-1 battle. I have no idea how battles are so lopsided, so often at high tiers. All I can guess is that so many kids ground their way up to high tier last summer without actually learning the strategies and how to play the game, and the winning teams are the ones that get less of the clueless ones.

Abysmal. Learning curve is too high. You get pigeonholed into the US lights.

Grind to the M3 Lee, then unlock and try the M4 Sherman and the T1 Heavy. That combo gives you experience with TD, Medium, and Heavy play styles, respectively.

T-44 breaks even without premium, and is hella fun to drive.

Wait!
You have to pass the test...

Do you own a Motorcycle?
Yes= in

If No,
Do you like Motorcycles?
Yes= in.

If No,
Have you ever seen a Motorcycle?
Yes=in

If No,
You need to get out more, but you should first post something in Jo Mamma. You'll fit right in. Half the people in there haven't seen their own motorcycles in months.

spent an hour trying to install XVM. I got nowhere.

who has a link to the idiots guide? I followed step by step instructions, yet there was no launcher in my folder after extraction and moving the cfg file.. Similarily, Curse Client supposedly installs it, but I got nothing there either.

1) Install the latest .NET framework and reboot computer.

2) Install dokan-0.6.0 and reboot computer.

3) From the wot-xvm site, download xvm-3.3.0.zip and xvm-stat-1.1.0.zip and save them to desktop.

4) For both archives: Right click archive -> "Extract all..." -> select game folder -> "Extract"

5) Navigate to the game folder. You need to create config file:
\res_mods\[GAME VERSION]\gui\flash\XVM.xvmconf
You can select ready config file from \xvm-doc\samples\ directory.

6) Navigate to the game folder.
Find the wot-xvm-proxy.exe file
Rt-click drag the wot-xvm-proxy.exe file to your desktop.
Choose 'Create shortcut here'.

7) Double click the shortcut to launch the game.

I tried, then failed and just drove around and blew shit up. The thinking aspect takes the fun out of the game.

Last night Furgal and I platooned up for like 6 battles, out of those we only lost 1, though mainly not due to my prowess, but Furgal's like this battle...

Never mind the fact that I died way early due to stupidity.

and there was also this one where I tried to redeem myself.

I wasnt having a good day anyway. most teams I was on were getting raped by about 3 to 1.
Following the above instructions, I was still not able to get anything working. I have an extra launch file in my wot folder, but not with the same name as shown. I will try again tomorrow.

I got about 35 miles in on Saturday when it was 60 out. It's in the teens now and I don't have much interest in dealing with a 65 mile round trip commute with weather that cold.
