Is NA server down? Unable to connect after the 8.3 client update.

So looking at the Chinese Tree...

I'm assuming if you have a Type58 the medium crew will transfer to the T-34-2 but not the IS-2?

And if you have the light WZ-132 (Tier 8 light? - it'll draw Tier 12's ) that your crew would not transfer to the WZ-120 (medium)

I don't know shit from sherlock, but to me the "light" concept of the American T21 I am still running, and the T71 some friends have run successfully, sort of proves the concept of capable light tanks at these ranks to me.

For people who really enjoyed the tactics of medium tanks, the light tanks give the added agility to get around and behind larger tanks. It's like running medium tanks on coke (or meth?) when done right. So let's hope the Chinese tanks are able to be played like that.

Sorry guys, I had to leave the ADV team-speak because a team training room came up. Little did I realize that it was something more than just team training.

Clan wars are down for a week until they introduce the American territories or maps (?) or whatever. (Are there new maps coming?). But Internet Tanks iz serious business, so the powers that be organized a Training Room between our clan and NUKED / FALLOUT.

We did a couple of trainings to stay sharp and to try different configurations.

Unlike clan wars, we actually could see the tanks the OPFOR brought and their respective XVM scores:

Well, I got the new vid card in and running.....post processing causes a lot of frame rate variability with this one. With it off, and everything else maxed, I'm getting 85+FPS, steady. With post processing on, I'm seeing between 65 and 120 FPS, with a lot of jumps in between. Not sure what's going on, but I'll keep playing with it.

FYI, this is up from 25-35 FPS with a HD 5750 and everything maxed.

Naw, they had some IS-7's originally, but changed them out.

Enough clans still respect and rock the IS-7 that you'll be OK.

And the biggest thing about having 6k games is more that most of us ground out the tanks the hard way. In your case you could just claim that yours is a second account as long as your efficiency and/or win rates are up, and average damage done with your tier 10 is respectable, to get accepted into a focused clan-warring clan if you're OK with leaving the FYYFF clan. There are some real good guys and good players hanging out in our TS, and I find you guys much cooler to talk with than the average clan member. (As an aside, there is this very common 'geeky late-teen' voice that is prevalent in WoT clans... it's like the same guy or brothers are in all the clans, and eventually you're going to come across them in each and every clan, lol ... drive me nuts to have to listen to teens or that geeky-voice even talk because I've never met one yet who was reserved enough in normal conversations that I could stand to listen to them.... I haven't heard anyone in FYYFF sound like that, lol, because motorcyclists must be cool or something)

Thanks for the few games tonight Jason. I can't believe we won that one after our last tank/TD drove off of that cliff... Thank goodness for a GOOD arty player, and your great work in the north and messing with their arty.

This wasn't a stellar game for me, but I love my E5, so...

This was a neat, if frustrating, battle... it came down to two tanks: our best arty against their best arty (the GW Panther player) once our 704 drove himself off of a cliff.

This is after it was down to our two arty (one of our arty sucked) and the 704 against their BatChat, their best arty, and their JagPzE100... their side had all good players left, and much stronger tanks.

The two arty faced each other off in a duel at their base. The GW Panther fired from about 10 meters away, and missed... our 155 then took his shot and didn't miss. Epic.

I sold the Crusader light and picked up the Cromwell. I was keeping up with a freakin ELC! It does 68 kmph on level ground Not very accurate, but I'm at 100% win rate so far Here's battle #2.

Those Cromwells are pretty stout tanks for their tier, they have decent HP, and as long as they don't stop they are fairly difficult to hit.
