I got a terribad player in a T34 raging at me last night after he bounced a shot off my front hull armor as we killed him.....his shot hit me high, right where the hull bends over to flat to go under the turret, so the bounce isn't really a surprise. You would think that after 11K battles with 44% win rate, one would just learn to accept their own fate as a punching bag for others.

Pretty much, yes. But there is something more to it... Since I don't have three or four tier tens with at least 100 battles, each, and huge average damage numbers for each, I have been put in a clan with guys who may have 51% or 52% win ratios, but who are really 48% players who have had their stats padded so that they at least seem good. I've played/platooned with a number of people from the clan one step up, Revolt, as well as other clans in the system, and their even better-stat-having players (~56%) were consistently scoring below me in the random pub matches we were fighting.

Now that isn't the case with all ~56% players... some are really solid - but of this B.L. group I've seen more players not play to the level their win ratios would suggest than any other group I've fought with. This seems to come from stat padding by hooking on to a good group early and playing tank company battles with them a lot.

I had a friend from a prior clan who was in Revolt, and who knew how I played, tell me to wait and not join Unforgiven because he felt I easily fit into at leas the Revolt tier of player. From my angle I'm just interested in being in the whole consortium and being more apt to have people to platoon with on the mornings I have off than I am about gaining gold at clan wars.

I fear that platooning within the clan I am joining will mean sifting through the chaff to find some players who are solid performers. And it's not like I burned any bridges on the way here, so there's always a chance I could join my last clan again if it's worse than I thought it would be.

I think overall I'm at 48% win. Almost completely in pub matches.

Every time I'm in the T25at, I figure I'm on the losing side. I can't carry the team myself and my win rate is in the low 30's, so by Mambo Daves explanations, I'm not worth a pinch of poo to any clan. Yet, I'm one of the last to die in battles and generally have good damage points inflicted.

I'll get told it's my play style. But I counter with the Stug. Exact same play style, except a 64% win rate.

It's too bad they can't have separate tier level clan wars.

Got the Crucial Contribution award in a game with rjbergen and Big Bird last night. I had 7 kills on 10 shots with an 80% hit rate. rjbergen added another 5 kills.

Especially with pub matches, it's so hit or miss with what team you'll roll.
