I went 1-1-1 and quit in disgust. Our arty had no clue how to counterbattery in the loss, and theirs picked us apart (Serene Coast, started on the north side and got 4 kills in my 704). The draw was on Redfield, of all places. Tier 10 battle and our Maus and E-100 both decided to sit on the hill and play TD for the majority of the battle, instead of getting out and being tanks. I hope 8.4 gets pushed tomorrow. I'm not playing again until it comes out.

Just found out that a Church VII can hit a Tiger II 29 straight times and do 1.1 damage per shot:e ar . Got a Sharpshooter and a loss

I wish I had a Church 3 so I could run over to Bill Gates' house and leave some customer feedback on his Win 8 install. The hardware seems to be working, but it's giving me errors that I'm too much of a dumbass to figure out. Senior Google has been unable to help either.

Long day at work - over 12 hours of it, get home late (9:30), and find that I have to do required clan wars training because, again, the clan's main battle force sucks so badly. Now you all know I like training rooms... but every time I've been in one for this group I've been put on the "B" team because I don't buddy up to the ''leaders," yet every time, despite probably an entire day of thinking about it and planning their diabolical moves, the "A" team loses to our "B" team with our made-up-on-the-spot tactics, and mish-mash of tanks that go against everything that clan wars leaders are using these days.

Tonight, dear fellows, was no different. I stuck around for over an hour to partake in two clan-wide training battles. Just two... (I'm not sure what they did to change the "A" team after the second - I thanked them for providing me targets and left)

So I had no fun except for ruining the best-laid plans of people who probably shouldn't be planning. Hey, at least they're persistent.

Because I was so un-enthralled with it, I entered with my IS-4 instead of the typical and desired 110E5. Hell, I thought, I haven't run my IS-4 for a long time, so let's see what it does.

What it does, by hanging with the T110E5's, is the most damage for the winning team despite being a hair slower in some situations. And the most damage for both teams IIRC for the last game:

1st:

Second:

And a screenie of the action being finished...

If any of you become clan war commanders, I just ask that you reconsider the IS-4 when so many of the clans have given up on it just because it isn't the 'In' tank to use at the moment.

It's tough, incredible, and as long as it isn't climbing a hill - plenty fast enough once it gets going. That last over-5000 round was without using gold rounds. The first round I did use gold for a while. Edit: Cancel that - apparently I ran out of regular rounds and it started shooting gold rounds in the second game. I didn't realize they had loaded.

I know I'm still in the "out" crowd now since I keep showing up their "A" team.

Clan FYYFF has no appetite for such political bullshit.

Glad you kicked ass, though, despite the barriers to fun.

Been running my ISU-152 a lot lately, love the Tier X gun on that thing. Su-100 shot at me face-first, bounced, I returned fire and 1-shotted him to Valhalla.

Then an AC Mile returned the favor and put me out just like that.

Game before, I had 2 kills, 4 or 5 hits, and 3k damage applied. That thing is mean.

AKjeff and I platooned all evening and boy are we a fearsome pair of noobs! If you meet us on the battlefield, watch out! Jeff'll shoot you and I'll run into you accidentally. So much fun.

Man, I DLed this game the week it came out and started playing then. Some of y'all have 10 times the battles I do. You experienced people scare me. Hope to see you all on the field of battle soon.

That was fun. When things went right they really clicked.
We'll have to do that again.

Bastage!

I was just about totally asleep last night, and I awoke to crashing and such. Thought some mo-fo was stealing the DR650 that I left on the front porch, so whipped out of bed and was just about to grab the pistol as I hear some voice I faintly recognize from the next room.

It's Sam, saying "Hi" and asking if I was there, at 12:30 AM in the morning when I forgot my TS was still connected and my speakers were on.

Sorry Sam, I was half-asleep still when I was talking to ya.

------

Theaty, a newer guy I guess, invited me to platoon, but then wasn't on TS about an hour or more earlier... so I forgot TS was still running since it was quiet.

When Sam puts his headphones on it definitely sounds like a heard of elephants entering the room

ya'll think the upgraded engine for the T30 is worth it? 33k xp

that's hard fought stuff, right there.Especially considering I am probably looking at 500+battles to get to the T110E4.

A 7% power boost is worth the time. But the gun should always come first.

They said SLI support is inbound... how about genuine multi-monitor support?
How cool would it be to have a full size minimap on your secondary screen?

Supreme Commander 2 works that way and it is awesome (and it is an old game)
