Ferdi without the top gun is painfull....I tried and got tired of bouncing everything....spent a great deal of XP on that one.

Now that I have the Patton I am wishing I could get the top gun for it....I lose money on that tank even if I win....not sure I am going to live past it.

is that what you called what you did today?

I got an email from the T1 Heavy that TK'd me:

Hey. I want to apologize for tk'ing you. Neither myself nor my clan condone tk'ing for any reason - I am not sure what got into me at that moment. I just saw you shoot a teammate and reacted. After viewing the replay, I see how wrong my reaction was. Please accept my apology. That is all.

I just got half the kills on my team!! Still lost though. Apparently our 2 kills wasn't enough to offset their 15

You will still lose money with the top gun. Gosh darn fun tank and I like playing it, but man can I lose money on it!

Anyone wanna mess around and do company battle tonight? Around 8 CST? No seriousness allowed.

I could scout and die on the company's behalf in my useless tier three light tanks. Or sit still and die in the T-28.

Wasted most of the day away... 74 battles.

After a rough (rusty!) start ended up at 42 wins 32 losses. We did get a BIA and crucial contribution at one point.

Good platooning with everyone!

18-8-1 with a 1585 efficiency.....I'll take it after the last couple of weeks I've had.

There is one guy who has entire fanboy threads dedicated to him, and the adoration of many a player on the North-American WoT server forum. To be honest, I didn't know what clan he was in until a game tonight (even though I was part of -G-'s sister-clan, --R--, before --R-- went retarded, split up, and got booted).

Right from the get-go it was apparent we were most likely going to lose. I don't use XVM's algorithm for calculating wins, but it was apparent that while the other team had great players and good players, we had a few total screw-ups. One that comes to mind was one of our tier tens - a 50B - that had a god-awful win rate and terri-bad efficiency score. It didn't get much better than that, except that we did have a few SIMP guys as arty and as a smaller tank.

Keep in mind that my platoon was one of tier 9's thrown into a tier ten battle.

But I learned something tonight. Number one - Garbad is a whiney little bitch when you beat him fair and square. Number two - OK, if it wasn't for this piece of junk M46 Patton that I love to hate... we may not have won the game at all.

Allow me to give you some insight of Garbad so you can draw your own conclusions about this 'forum-famous' WoT player. Now I do believe he has earned some respect, and he is an honest 71% win ratio player, but:

This is where it gets crazy. Our biggest tanks died early. The ONLY other tank on the battlefield with me toward the end (still facing really good players, who were healthy, and working together) was an E-75 that my dead platoon-mates were telling me was an honest to God tard.

Well, he (my tard E-75 that, at that time, I was under the assumption was connecting shots and just starting to help me) eventually started moving into the city, toward the tanks I was trying to corner and that were lit up on his side originally. Little did I know that despite spawning with the heavies, being up on that side for ALL of the action, and having shots at a number of them - the fucking last teammate I could count on had done no damage by the end of the intense round. On top of that, two of our most important tanks did fuck-all for damage:

Thank you, SIMP guys; I've always known you to be solid players.

----------

The very next game was more of the same - we made another tier 9 platoon, got thrown into a tier ten battle, and beat the rest of the team (in XP, and I in damage as well) to earn the win. After this one I thanked them and bid them (and Smurf who had just showed up) "good night" to end the night on a happy, if slightly drunken (Seagram's Extra Dry Gin, Vermouth, Olives) note. (I've started drinking while playing WoT again... maybe it's helping me?!?!??)

What does it mean when I am usually in the lower half of the tonnage? Meaning I am usually the weaker than most of the other tanks on the field?
