two questions, basic, but have not been able to find them in the menus.

How do you call in an arty strike?

How do you state "attention to sector J4" or whatever. Cant find it in the shortcut key stuff anywhere?

Which meant that by the time MN_Smurf / Brian platooned with me, I wasn't really all there.

Brian proceeded to show me how it was done battle after battle, and if not for him and his ability to stay alive (and use his guns)... we would have lost a lot.

But he saved me from myself tonight. :-)

As a last hurrah, I went to that place where all terrible platoon mates foray - requiring that we do a tier ten battle (when I've sucked all night! This is the epitome of a bad-player platoon-mate move IMHO, and I went and did it). Again, Brian proved himself strong and agile - lasting longer than I, beating the crap out of an aggressive and good team, and ending with not only something around 2100 damage (to my 2000 damage), but an unholy 6305 (or something right about like 6300) potential damage done to his T110E5.

Gin didn't quite work for me tonight since I intentionally drank too much crystal sparkling water of the gods.
Dude, knock it off. You're going to give these guys the idea that I know what I'm doing in this game, which I clearly do not. It was all luck, LUCK, I say!!!!!

To mark a target, whether for arty or just your tank teammates.....aim at the target so that it's highlighted and press F2. To highlight a sector on the map, Ctrl+right click that sector on the mini-map

I sold my Chinese tank last night. Used up some free xp and bought a KV1-s. Transferred my Churchill crew over, added ammo and basic consumables, entered my first battle and ended up the very top tank in the battle with stock everything

We ended up winning at least.

Hafta agree on the SIMP guys. Had 2 platooned(Bat Chat 25 and FV215). in a tier 10 battle Mines, and with my T28 and a T95 we mopped up. I didn't make as much as I usual;ly do, mostly because the battle oved faster than I could keep up, but nobody got past us

You should see what a combined T28/T95 hit looks like on a T57 Heavy. I think the guy mighta pooped himself.

Here are the new Tech Trees.....

The 3 new Russian tanks are an alternate line to the BT-2 line, both lines leading to T-34.

Important note here....the 3002 DB no longer leads to Panther and Tiger..

There needs to be new maps, not more tanks.

Awesome...it needed something. Might make it worth the garage slot again.

But there is more that will effect everyone...

Quote:
• New Map: Pearl River
• Premium consumables (med kits, repair kits, etc.) are now available for credits
• The creation of platoons for three players is now available for non-premium accounts
• Reduced the credit cost for temporary camouflages, emblems, and inscriptions
And I've observed these bugs; glad they are getting fixed!

Quote:
• Fixed a rare bug causing shells to disappear after hitting an enemy gun of a higher tier
• Fixed a bug limiting the damage of HE shells to external modules after penetration

Thanks! There are so many things that are not listed either in the tutorial or the key map.........

The WoT Wiki is your friend......it would be a good idea to go spend some time reading the Battle Mechanics and Crew sections at the very least.

I totally agree, but Maps are much harder to build than tanks.
Tanks just have to be researched and then plug the values into the model and skin it. Mostly math and tweaking for balance.
Maps have to be built from scratch and continuously redone, played, and tweaked to ensure they are fair for either side.

They should be able to throw money/people at the map issue though. There are a lot of good map builders out there and they have money to spend.

I have read through a lot. Just couldnt seem to find those anywhere.

Btw, had to brag a little bit here. Had one of the best games ever. Started out in a matilda, slow as hell, so I call out that I will guard the artys (3). Everyone else hauled ass all over the map....then it started. The artys were new and it was city so they were not real effective as 8 tanks came in on us, me and 3 arts all by ourselves. Held off all 8 with 5 kills by myself and lost no arty. They were calling me a hero and was down to %2 health. At one point was slugging it out with 4 enemies at once taking them out one at a time....often with a tread off! Bad ass!

btw, my screen capture is only showing black for the game portion of the screen....not sure why, so I used my camera on it!

edit, figured it out! For some reason it doesnt copy the screen to a clipboard, it copies it to a screenshot file in the world of tanks program files.
