Superpershing is allegedly going to be removed from stores...

Source: http://forum.worldoftanks.com/index....rom-the-store/

Basically, Korean server (which for some reason announces this stuff a lot in advance) released the following statement (text translated/transcribed by Krasnayazvezda, US server)

Tankers!
We are sorry to inform you that the Super Pershing will be removed from the stores of all servers around the world upon the request of Wargaming.net headquarters.
Thus the planned discount of the Super Pershing (note : local event for Korean server only) will be cancelled according to this.
We'll let you know about the details regarding the Super Pershing within a few days.

We apologize you for the abrupt change of the details of the specials.
We'll do our best to provide you better services in the future.
Thank you.

SS: So much fuss over one wrong frontal armor angle....

I wonder how many people will buy the Super P in the next few days now...

or they will just use it as a prize like they are doing with the Type 59. 2 tanks rotating are better than just 1.

well, the 25AT is good with just the big gun, but it is a lot of fun fully upgraded so you can mount equipment on it too..

Since reporting from ftr-wot seems to be our passtime-of-the-month, this tidbit cracked me up:

Quote:
Many gamers thinks that all aspects from real world tanking translates into the game. This is far from the truth. If you want to experience what a real tanker does, I suggest you try this: Take your entire computer outside. Ensure it is over 100 degree weather. Sit in your car with your heaviest winter clothes on and only one window down. Log into the game and join 20 different matches where you sit there for 15 minutes and never see the enemy.

There was an AMX13/75 scooted between 2 of our scouting light going after our lone arty. I gave him a one shot kill too
ROFLOL! Totally cool ain't it?

I read somewhere that at the UK museum...bovington I think, during their tank day, you can sign up for a ride in the tanks....I think it was around $150 for the ride.....I would do that in a heart beat.

Trust me, it ain't as fun as it sounds

Used to drive M113, M88, M577, M2 (both cav and infantry versions), took an M1A1 out for a spin to get qualified for my license as well. I was qualified for all tracked vehicles and most wheeled vehicles except for the GOERs and HEMTT.

I would think as with a great many things in life....it would be fun to do as a hobby, but as a living it is not fun at all.

I would bet that even as someone like you that had to do it day in and day out, getting a chance to be in a WWII vintage tank....I bet if someone offered it you would take them up on a ride....just to see what it was like back then.

Kinda like driving a model T ford....fun to do as a hobby but as a daily driver not much fun at all.
