Barkbusters install was super easy. I opted for the Storm plastics for maximum weather protection. The plastic feels very durable -- a bit pliable for impact resistance and doesn't feel like it will get brittle in the cold. The aluminum backbones are beefy!

Everything fit as intended, and access to the controls is completely unimpeded.

It's been a chilly ride in the mornings lately, so I'll get a good feel for the wind protection tomorrow.

Ya I would be interested to hear if you notice any difference in wind protection and warmth. I ride to chino every morning and its been fricken chilly out there lately.

The bark busters look nice congrats.

It was pretty chilly this morning, so it was a decent test. I definitely noticed the difference. It's not like my hands are suddenly toasty warm now, but cutting the direct 75mph wind blast to the fingers made things much more bearable. Used to be that my palms were burning (from the grip heaters on high) while the backs of my hands were numb, and today with the heaters on low I was generally comfortable the whole way.

Also, as you can tell from the photos, these things are stout. They would eat car side mirrors for lunch.

Just changed the oil in my G650gs and noticed oil leak from filter. May have to replace rubber seal? Any idea where I can find one of those?
Thanks!

When you change the oil, ask for a "Filter Kit", BMW sells the filter with all the new seals and washers you need. Its a couple bucks extra than just a filter, but its a good idea to replace the seals with each change. Any BMW dealer will have the seal kit.

One thing I noticed on the last one is it didnt have a crush washer for the bottom, maybe it was just missing from my kit - strange.

Yeah, I only got two days of cold weather testing in and now it's 80° outside! Not that I'm complaining...

Well, you know what they say. If you don't like the weather out here, wait five minutes.

Looks great, like the windscreen, wonder if they make that for the four hole model? You just need to get it dirty now, it just doesn't look right that clean!

Looks awesome!

I have the same ride! All you need are the additional PIAA lights.
