Great stuff. That is one serious decal job. Thanks for sharing.

My wife and I went to AltRider thursday to get her 2011 G650GS fully farkled! (well, everything they currently make for the G-650GS) Which is crash bars, and protection for the rear brake and reservoir. We were treated to some great service from the AltRider crew and got a cool look inside into some new items coming out real soon for her bike. Erik told us the skid plate for the G650GS is just out of development and in production(end of this month hopefully), but what they were most excited about was the new luggage rack due out in 3-4 weeks.
Next on the list is a bigger side stand foot pad. We hope to be 1st in line for the new stuff

Erik installing the crash bars

great looking bars

rear brake protection

the prototype skid plate that should be out by the end of the month

the mock up of the tail rack, they designed it so you can still get to the lock box under it. very cool!

what the holes are for

All I had on hand was my I phone, however Erik did get some better ones outside with his big Cannon. I'll try to get some posted.

Those crash bars look great! Unlike other bars I've seen, those look like they would acutally do a good job protecting the bike.
I just wonder if they are too closed to, and rub against your knees?
More pictures please!

They have some good ones on their website showing the bike on its side.

It's a minimalist look but covers all the points it needs to. That's one thing I like about Altrider, great simple design.

I'm thinkng about buying at a 2005 F650 GS with 6000 miles. The owner wants $5000.00. It appears to be all stock except for a rather large wind shield. It looks pretty good (not much wear) except for a few minor scratches. The engine sounds good too.

It that a good deal?

Thanks....

I do not know if Wunderlich. I bought this crash bars at moment on the purchase of the bike directly to the BMW dealer. I like that it protects the engine better than others, for me more important than the plastics.

Laugh

Just installed the GPR race exhaust on my G650GS.. The pipe itself looks amazing and sounds awesome! (LOUD). Throttle and start ups feels smoother with the new pipe now installed.
