Gypsy and I might make the drive up Saturday and spend the night, need to hoist a couple for the boss with some friends. Should we get a spot? If so which one?

Here are the sites that ADV folks have reserved so far, also 539 has been reserved since this diagram was posted, and there are a couple of folks staying at the modernized sites with hookups. We chose this end because it was furthest back, to minimize conflict with other campers, not if but when things get loud

I have a tire question...

So here goes.

I'm planing to ride the DR from Acworth Ga. and was wondering how well the gravel roads were seasoned in. Are they fresh gravel (D606) or packed (Scorp MT 90)?

I'll be more in the B.Curvin, ride mode.

I can tell you about TN roads, but not NC, so I can't tell you about the tires. However, I can say I won't be able to get there until Saturday morning. flysniper has an orientation he has to attend on Friday evening.

Thanks. I think the MT 90s are my choice to enjoy the long twisty ride up on Thursday.

I might, depending on how bad my attitude gets over the next five days or so. I was scheduled to be off all next week but decided to stay home.
