Soooo... just throwing this out there

We could push it back 2 weeks and take advantage of Daylight Savings business... ? IDK if peoples have filed official paperwork for off time and all, but the last time I was there, I had to bid farewell to the draw to go track down a campsite before dark (@ 5:15)

And who's trailering? My buddy wants to go but he has a Husaberg with a seat that's like a 2X4 wrapped in a paper towel. He manned it up last time but is a bit fearful for the ol' arse punishment. He's down to chip in for petrol.

I like the idea of longer days, but the weekend of the 17th I'll be out in death valley aimlessly roaming around the desert running out of gas. Any other weekend, including the original I'm game.

will be nice riding if we have weather and conditions like today. Would have liked to get the DR out today but was busy with this:

Well I am half considering throwing in the towel. The VFR project has totally overtaken the garage and there is no shortage of work to do on that. Especially when I get my powdercoated parts back tomorrow along with swingarm bearings and valve shim kit all shows up next week.

Maybe April will be better. Weather should turn nicer but the forest service roads will still be closed in the hills.

I'd like to get out there but I won't be around the beginning of March. Definitely in after that.....especially if it warms up!

What's this and when?

Sounds like an event I might be able to make. When is it exactly, and where? I have heard of the area but never been there... Would be trailoring from Boulder I imagine if riding is actually to take place :-)

I have been laying on my back for a week with a busted ankle.
I'm iffy depending on how the healing goes.
