Nice thread!

Well unfortunately it was not my mod and don't have a pic of it as I saw it many years ago, possibly in the ukgser site.
This guy attached a pulley on the bolts side of the back wheel of his 1150GS (it was a yellow one). A wire was running from this pulley under the engine through a guide attached on the bottom end of the left fork leg.
The purpose of this fine idea as you can imagine was to use it as a rear wheel driven winch to get himself out of nasty places.

Lower fork clamp raises the fender 5/8" for 21" wheel clearance.

Made a Meltdown

I made a sweet license plate holder toolbox with a Pelican. It melted on a 300 mile run! Rebuilt with a heat shield.

head light guard

Since I'm going up to Alaska soon , I thought some headlight protection was in order. My '02 1150 Adv came with a headlight guard but the gaps are almost 1" wide. So I went down to TAP plastics and bought a small piece polycarbonite. Cut it out with a jig saw and mounted it with some 1/2" clamps. Total was about $5 and had enough plastic left over that my friend could make a guard for his 1200.

I probably should have put this post here:

This is for amplifying to helmet speakers and a charging circuit.

I've made a few things, but this is the only one I have a picture of at the moment. I wanted to add so,etching yellow to my bags to tie them into the bike. So I whipped up a few stickers.

Edit, I guess I have a picture of something else I made, sort of. Note the big ugly gap between the cat and the muffler. I had to relocate my muffler to make my Jesses fit so I made a connector that moved the muffler down, and a new bracket to hang it.

I made this bracket to stabilize the cases during off-road rides.

Cut some of these down.

Made one of these...

Mounted it in the end of one of those...

Used the drops as a welding jig...

Some paint and a couple cam latches...

Mounted all the bits here...

I now have a GS Tool Tube...
