I'm dreaming about sidecars already (for many years actually) but my wife is not to big on the idea, will see what time will bring, For now is time to enjoy every minute this little baby brings.

HP2 Enduro & Vstrom windscreen
Excellent thread, love the idea of using a plastic cutting-board pad for the sidestand feet. Brilliant.
So here's a Vstrom windscreen mounted to my HP2E with 4 small pieces of 90 deg aluminum hardware store strap. The 2 uprights bolt to the headlight mounts, the 2 horizontal stabilizers go back to the turnsignal mounts. No drilling or irreversible changes, & works even better than I'd hoped....a blind pig finds a trruffle... ![]() ![]()

Power Panel [/QUOTE]I don't get this. Why an air compressor port on the bike? And how does it provide air? You mean you have a portable air compressor mounted behind the frame? |

My bike is the older one on the right. I adapted a Cee Bailey from an 05 1200GS windshield to fit my 1100GS.
I thought the stock windshield was the worst I've ever experienced. I then bought the Givi and it wasn't much better. To me it wasn't even rideable for any distance at all. So, I cut down the stock windshield and coated it in bedliner to use it as a mounting bracket since the stocker is so tough and well made, just poorly engineered. It works very well now. ![]()

Senor Wjrudo this is very Gaudi of you, awesome sense of shape you have there.
One question, do you notice the kickstand "Bouncing" more then you are riding in the dirt do to all the sprung mass at the end of it..??

No bounce. The back side is pocketed out so the weight is near nothing.
