Well, sort of....

But my original intention was to use it to center the crosses and zero the shaft runout, kinda like this.

Now, I am just waiting on the new joints and steady rest for my lathe to complete the job.

Long ago before I decided that an 1150 was not a keeper bike for me I was determined to stop the buffeting and knock the wind noise down. So I ended up with what got nick named the "fairy wings" on the wind screen and a deflector on the mirror stalks. Worked great, maybe a little to good. On days with temps in the 90s or above it was too calm in the cockpit.

But with a shift of the deflectors on the mirrors it was possible to regulate a draft.

After getting the 1200 I was having trouble trying to decide what to do with the silly hole in the rear end. After some thought and

After seeing what some of the other inmates did, I'm a little hesitant to put up my latest project. But WTF, had a Pelican 1150 kicking around so I made it my first aid kit.

here is the tool tube I made back when I had my 1200...

4" Stainless exhaust pipe, 14" long, some stainless angle iron, the clamps from my carbon canister, and a 4" plumbing test cap. Weld, grind, clearcoat, done.
