The CPR filters worked well for the MX 1000. Mike finished 2nd overall without a filter change! Out chase truck driver rode the bike out of MX from Cabo for a total of 2200 miles and the filter was still working well! Big thanks to CPR. Mike and I both got dusted out by Terrible Herbst and Robbie Gordon
![]() Our jetting is perfect, we got 92- 100 miles per tank at race pace and some of was dry lake bed and deep sand. I've never been in 6th gear that long on dirt. Sustained speeds of 80-100+ for hours. Head2wind and CJ helped us out big time!

Got out for 100 mile ride this morning and although the bike ran great, my fuel mileage was terrible, so I will try smaller mains, and see what that does.
Edit: Actually my fuel mileage was really good, for some reason no fuel was drawn from the right hand tank (yes I had the fuel tap (s) all open). I must of pinched a line. I'll pull the tank and check it all out. I have had the tanks on and off a dozen times and never have done this before. I actually found some mud, in a not so dry wash. The outside of the bike was pretty muddy, but there was none at all on on the filter. It looks like the tanks really shield the filter well, and that is one thing I was curious about. I rode by myself today, so conditions were pretty much dust free, so no test on that part yet.

Watching a Trophy Truck scamper over the whoops at 100+ MPH while passing motorcycles cured me of any desire to be on a bike on any course at the same time as those guys. Congrats on the excellent results.

me on a sand road on the way to San Ignatio. I was going 90-100 and he went by like I was sitting still. He went wide, so it was a nice pass. The experience was easier than I thought honestly ![]() The Sand whoops in San Filepe sucked

Gabriel at "ZEN Overland" had signed up in the UK as a dealer. He has 10 arriving any day shipped from here. 5 / 990's and 5 / 950's. Give them a ring. They are probably not up on the site yet.

suggest the "akro" map as a starting point, stock map will be too lean on the top

Here are some pictures from my installation, to bad that due to problems with the throttle body that we run out of time yesterday. So i can't present any results yet
.Before: 2nd valves removed and X-ring in to place ![]() Base plate installed with RC8 stacks ![]() Filter installed With fuel tank inplace And a picture what was wrong with the throttle body, the valves wheren't correct installed in the middle of the throttle body. And caused small markes inside, see the black stripe. ![]() So we had to remove the screws and reposition the valves, and after apply loctite to the screws and flatting the screws on the other side so that they never will come loose again

As CPRFAB said, we've got 10 arriving on Monday; they are already on our site at this link:
http://www.zenoverland.com/ktm_950-a...ntake_ktm.html Do give me a shout if you need anything. We regularly ship to Greece, and with lightweight items like this it's pretty inexpensive.
