I had stuffed an R1150 motor and transmission into a /7 frame for another project and decided it was better off used in the sidecar project. I already modified the driveshaft, cut down the unneeded parts on the transmission and I have a set of 40mm Bings for it....

Chris, I know this is a whole new configuration, but do you have any idea whether the height of the front end drops with the Earles on the /7 frame as opposed to if it had stock teles mounted? if so, how much?

I've been really busy finishing up a couple customers bikes and during that time I picked up a 76 /2 with a R90S motor in it and decided that this would be less work to put me Steib sidecar on it and have a working sidecar rig sooner. The rigid frame bike I will still finish as a solo bike next year. I'll post pictures soon.

So things have changes a bit. The rigid frame project will become a solo bike and the Stieb will get attached to the latest find,
I received a phone call that an old friend of mine past away and the family needed to get rid of 2 sidecar rigs and a bunch of BMW parts. One of the sidecar rigs is a 76 R90 left hand rig with 15" wheels and a leading link front end... The second was a 67 R60/2 with an R90S motor and transmission. The friend of mine was quite eccentric and had patches, plastic figures and stickers siliconed all over both rigs.. Here is the day we picked them up. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I sold the Jawa sidecar to an Inmate here on ADV.

I decided to swap the R90S motor for the R90 motor in the other rig.
![]() added some old chromed and pitted engine covers ![]() Built a swing arm conversion and bolted up a 3:09 rear drive and a /6 driveshaft. ![]() Added a Denfeld accessory rack I have been carting around for the past 20 years.
