Eh? Toll-By-Plate Invoice

I received a bill along with a photo that was a black box with a couple of white dots. The black box was supposed to be a photo of me passing through a toll booth in south Florida.

The tag number matches my DR650, but I have never ridden a motorcycle through a toll.

The bill is for $3.27 and the phone number on the invoice is useless. It is nothing but a menu that finally offers a chance to pay.

Has anyone else been falsely billed through Toll-By-Plate?

Just call them and contest it. Just keep hitting #. They will cancel it out. It's a PITA but I figure as many times as I've run it it and I never got charged, it works out. All of my crap is linked to my SunPass but they are apparently using 1980's technology to process it. They got me on a trailer a while back that was there mistake.

What he said. They "got" me in Miami on my DRZ a while back (I live near P'Cola). After many phone calls, I finally got in touch with a human, and she sent it up to be contested. Only issue I had after that was they never told me the outcome. I had to call them back to find out the toll had been dropped.

Gold diggers !!!
They saw both of you ride a "DR"....
ergo since Doctors have lots of money, let's distribute the wealth funneled through bogus tolls.

I got one of those a few years back from the Orlando area.
Mine however clearly showed a Harley/Cruiser bike in the picture.

Yea, as I recall it was a major PITA to get a hold of someone, but I eventually did and got them to review and resolve it.

Laugh It is resolved

I found an email address on the back of the invoice after looking it over again last night. After sending an email with all of the necessary info, it was resolved easily.

Thanks for the replies, I'm glad it is not just me that thinks their system is a goat rope.
