Perry mountain dual sport -april 10/11/12

The Perry Mountain M/C is pleased to announce the 2nd annual Dual Sport Ride on April 10-12 of 2015.

This is an ADV No Fee Event
Since so many of you were thrilled (?) with the more difficult trails PM has to offer this year there will be much more of the same. The tighter sections of the ride on PM will be marked with arrows... just like an Enduro. Other parts will be by GPS and roll charts.

The idea is to test you through 20 miles - Forest roads for 20 and 20 tight back. Lunch and gas at Reynolds Pasture (PM Start). Then take out again on different trails but same idea.

There will be an Adventure Bike route(mostly dirt roads and National Forest roads) and a street bike only route IF there is any interest. We will need feed back from folks who want options other than dirt.
Riders will need a roll chart holders

First riders out at 9:00am(fast group)then all other riders leave out, Clean up crew will leave at 10:00am

Tickets can be purchased for BBQ that will available at the club house for lunch.

Gas at PMMC
Free camping at PMMC
Donations will be accepted by Perry Mountain Motorcycle Club

As time get closer we will post up other details and information.

If you don't know about PMMC this search it and learn!!!

YOU DONT WANT TO MISS THIS ONE !!!

Cool. The singletrack stuff last year was a blast.

I was hoping this year was going to be a lot more of the off road variety. Sounds like yall read my feeble mind. Shouldn't have taken long.

Time to call up some SmartAsses.

I want to make it clear that bduke and the PPMC are responsible for this event and I am just a helper who has the time to assist.

You can never please everyone but the club has picked a weekend to suit as many as possible and avoid known conflicts with other events.

Last year we had over 100 riders with no issues or injuries.

Since PPMC is race driven this DS will offer the DS rider a taste of Enduro competition with arrowed trails, route sheets, pit stop lunch and gas, and trails that will make you think twice about the definition of FUN.

So mark your calendars, arrange for time off, and join the fun in April.

Here is a link to one of last years videos

This Manfu is "IN"!

I have a hazy recollection from PBR of speaking to Smooth doing about this run? But his TW theme song proved a massive distraction
