DIY Scotts Adapter

Hi from a OC Newbie :)

Have been lurking here for a while picking ideas as to what I wanted to make.
And thanks to XR Valdees picture of his setup, I just had to make one for myself.

And now to try and post a pic.....

Offset Handle Bar Rise Forward.
Its 1" higher and 46mm forward (~1.800").

The Left Pic is the Original Concept I had in Mind, and the Right Pic is what I had made for myself (stronger). And a sneak peak from the side showing you where its hiding.

Designing was by far the toughest part.
The first pic on the left was what I wanted to make if I had the means to do so. (CNC)
What you see made here is the 3rd Version, and the one I made manually. It is my simplified version to test out dimensions and ergonomics.

As requested a front view of it.
And Yes! It bolts right into the existing holes pre drilled and tapped from factory.
The under side of the adapter has a 3mm relief cutout for the raised boss on the triple.

Thanks for all the Kudos!

Liability Issue with posting Drawings?

Would like to hear some of your thoughts on the subject of DIY.

What are my liabilities if I were to post my designed drawings here on OC?

I really do not mind sharing what I have, since it was gained though this site anyways.

If a Solid Disclaimer is attached with the drawing will it be enough to keep me out of trouble.
Anyways.... I have been asked, and I said that I would consult the forum to see what I should do.

Once the cats out of the bag there is no putting it back.

Wondering whats the consensus is on this subject.
Your thoughts and advise is always welcome.

- Tatsubon

PS - I'm sure that some one else out there is making one for themselves . Lets see where you are up to and if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.
