The supporters of this legislation with be back with anothr bill for the 2013 session.

Here is what one of the leaders of that group has to say:

ORV users will continue to seek dispersed recreation, both off road and off trail, riding machines many miles over large areas and along the way harming wildlife habitat, clean water, private property, and opportunities for others to enjoy quiet recreation."

It is unfortunate that he sees us as an enemy. As we most likely have many in common that do not want either of us to purse the sports that we enjoy.

Dude likes to hunt in Wilderness. Nobody I know rides there. What's his problem again?

Maybe his goals are wider than they appear in writing?

In discussions such as this, many here see him as an enemy.

Us vs. Them.

Some people are best judged by their deeds.

I guess he's lying.

I'll just assume that, since it's easier.

He may not be, but he may also be striving to accomplish more that what he states there.

What you have read on this forum is not his entire body of written or verbal work.

That said, it is disappoint the groups that do have some common concerns could not play well together.

Anyone know, if an off road bike (2011 wr 450 to be exact ) with a dual sport kit passes the test and is plated in Wa,
would it then be transferable to Oregon and then be street legal there?
I have called Oregon DMV 5 times and got 5 different answers.

Im on the edge of buying one and jumping thru the hoops with a friends help.
If its a for sure deal then I will probably go for it.

Thanks for the info!
