where are some areas that one can ride and shoot (at the same basic place?)

An option on a place to burn those up is Trinidad State Jr College gunsmithing courses, in Trinidad CO. They offer some nice 2 week classes during the summer..if you are interested in guns

It was last weekend and continues through this weekend. Sunday is the last day. Saturday is probably the better day to go, but I'm going to a beer festival down here in the low-lands.

I think it was called Paint Pony Ranch.. about a mile or two up 67, on the right side of the highway... Panoramic views of Pikes Peak from all the important rooms... it is on Comanche Trail. It is a ghastly green color.. but other than that it is in immaculate condition. New roof, new deck, big garage. I may have to rent it out for a year before I am actually ready to retire and move to CO. Will be tough to stay here in RI when CO will be calling my name.

Great news, welcome to the family. You will need to come out for the couple of ADV Rallys this summer to get a feel for the place before you move in for good.

Yep, sounds about right. I live about a mile from your place on the other side of 67. Let me know if you ever need anything.

I am in downtown Woodland . There are a couple of other airheads in town . Lots of airhead activity in CS .Check out PPBMWRR. Also a lot of GS riders in our club .

Unfortunately, i dont think the Airhead will make it to CO. I love the bike, but it just doesnt get ridden enough. Too bad, I spent a lot of time last winter fixing it up. I will be bringing a motorcycle lift, a fairly extensive set of tools, and no mechanical skill with me.

I don't have any mechanical skill either . I just ride em and break them . We have a couple of really good airhead mechanics in CS . The BMW dealer isn't that popular among the membership . Too bad you are not bringing the Airhead . Check your members book ,you will see that CS has a concentration of airheads in CS .In any case welcome to Colorado from someone that was born here .
