No leave loading on long service, makes it very ordinary when you're travelling!
![]() about $600-$800 per fortnight lower pay! ![]() Cheers Baza

Just a suggestion for those looking for a route.
Try Woomargama National Park. From Albury - follow the River Road east and turn left (north) onto Tunnel Rd. From Woomargama (on the Hume) - follow Tunnel Rd south east. Look for the information area that has been created from a gravel pit on the eastern side of the road. That's one turn off from Tunnel Rd. Turn to the east into the plantation forests. You'll basically end up following Tin Mines track. First few kays are typical forest roads, either course gravel sheet or deep dust. Follow the nose. If you follow your nose you'll end up at an old fence, with the National Park sign. You could also look for the National Trail / Walking Track signs too. The eastern end is Yenches Rd. That leads you out onto the Jingellic Rd (wot a plan!!) a few km south of Lankey's Creek hall. Turn south and you'll end up at Jingellic. Twin track fire trail at worst. A bit where the road just goes over some rock outcrops but nothing that is too difficult. Of course, it's been more than 12 months since I was up there. Bad distraction suggestion time: It's also an alternative location - Tin Mines Camp site. There is bugger all there. Not even drinking water. You'd have to bring your drinks and food, rather than pay for someone to pour it into fresh, chilled glasses. And not much chance of snittie, either. Our little crew have been talking about getting up there for a weekend. BTW. Don't trust Google Earth on this one. It's wrong. And Phillis Rd is locked off at the park boundary. Don't know if I can make it taht weekend. Don't usually work that weekend, because the classic club has a day ride on the sunday. Dog with two bones.

I'm there. 5th May it is then. I'll be wearing a new tyre.
![]() I'd better let my apprentice(s) know. We could probably use a disposable mascot, someone who won't be missed, to be sacrificed to the authorities if it all goes ugly. I'll pm Rossco...... |

May is a way off. A quiet month, close to June
. I could be a starter .We meet up with the vix on the Snowy at the Cold Flame in a couple of weeks.

Yep, in fact I'll probably be riding my own roadie up from Bendigo via the twistiest route I can find via Mansfield, Whitfield and Granya Gap.
