BTW I don't recommend my front tire. It's Bridgestone Trial Wing TW101 and it doesn't work in loose sand and mud, specially when it's 19' tall and 110mm wide and it's a 20 EUR second hand... On loose or wet stuff I'm all over the place fighting for my life. Next season I'm going for something with bigger teeth, even if I loose some tarmac capabilities.

How do you find the size of your Enfield? I have some issues with my FT (which is a bit bigger than Royal) and you're even taller than me. When I sit my laps are flat and it's difficult to stand up, and when I do stand I have to lean over the front and my knees are just a little bit lower than the handlebars. I'm definitely going for tall MX handlebars and I'm gonna make a new seat, at least 5cm taller. If that doesn't help I'll lower the pegs.

I love what you did to you bike and your photography is excellent and breathing atmosphere as always. Still very jealous of the places where you get to ride....


I do really need new tyres for the Enfield, haven't really decided which ones yet though. People seem eager to recommend Heidenaus, but they're expensive and I fear they are a bit of an overkill for a 17 hp bike.

The size is actually fine, the bike is a lot bigger than it looks. Standing up my position is pretty good, sitting down the seat might be a bit low too (or the pegs high), I have a bit too much trouble getting my feet off of the pegs quickly. So a new seat is also high on the wishlist.
