How does everyone feel about an Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout clone? Probably gonna go by the home brew place tomorrow for some ingredients. Let me know.

Alright everybody. 5 gallons of Old Rasputin liquid goodness in the fermenter. Wife said she will probably drive my truck out and meet us for the camping, thus avoiding the transport issue.

Blake,

Will there be a separate camping site available for those that prefer Charly and Ewan? I'll provide the beer, firewood and speedo.

Your pal,

Dan

This is pretty cool. Does it turn out decent? Have you gotten successful brew before?
Kinda like making biodiesel?

Is this for the May 4 ride?

I'm a bit confused trying to follow along here....
So we've got a t-shirt, stickers, a new website, and home-brewed beer for the next dualsport ride? Or am I just lumping everything together?

The past ones have all been at least drinkable.

Currently drinking a Rogue Dead Guy Ale clone I like better than the original.

This is my first attempt at Old Rasputin so we will see how it turns out. Every batch is a adventure at first I have no reason not to expect this to turn out as great as the last.

Yes this is for the May ride. It will be right at the 8 week old mark so should be about right for drink-ability I hope.

And yes you have everything lumped together correctly.

Swing by this Sunday and I'll share some of the Dead Guy. Anyone else can drop by as well. Me and a buddy will be putting Airbag suspension on my new truck.
