Last year we had a gas riding to the KTM rally - mostly dirt from Bend to Sparks and eventually Tahoe. One dirt/playa section we averaged 61 mph!

I think I have a pretty good dirt route into CA, but not to familiar with OR do you have any suggestions?

for Tuesday Night (11th) Backyard Tent Camping/BBQ/campfire on my 5 acres near Hood River,
and the Wed & Thur "Edge of Wilderness DIRT RIDE", and Forest "nowhere" tent camping Wed & Thur nights.
I think we'll also be able to sneak the NW famous Barlow Road into this

We'll get to the KTM Rally about 10-ish AM Friday Morning.
If registration can start Thursday evening, we can get there then,,,,whatever....

By then, I'll have a Forest (free) campspot personally picked out, as close as possible to the Rally site.

Several of us are also attending the NW's "WetFest" in Wenatchee the weekend before this KTM Rally.
My off-road route to Bend will start from there on Sunday afternoon,
with a Tuesday afternoon stop at my place near Hood River, for a night in my own bed, a shower, and a good BBQ.
(You fuggers have to sleep on the lawn , or if poor weather, inside the BIG Garage Loft)
...Then it's Bend or Bust Wednesday morning

Hey, there are at least a couple of us here in Grass Valley Ca that are looking at dirt routes to Bend, Lets compare and maybe put a group together?
