Looking forward to more of the great photography and details of your journey.

We love the Guatemalan's hospitality while there and would like to share some of Oregon while/if you pass through. Even if it's just to sample some of the local beer our region is famous for.

waiting

Still waiting for ya here in Alberta. I will be gone for the month of July though - hopefully you show up slightly after that...like in the first week of August - there is a Rally (MRT) in the Kootenay Mountains in British Columbia that you could check out.

Is there any way that you could keep posting your phots just a bit smaller - I can only see half of these ones my screen!

Cheers!

Brian

Hey Brian , we still don't know exactly when we will be up in your neighborhood.
Photos : I don't know what I'm doing wrong that some photos are posted so big; I'll try to find out and avoid it .

I'm sure you have lots of contacts in AK but if you can take the time, I imagine we can throw a BBQ together when you get here. I for one would love to bend your ear about this ride! Keep in touch as you get near AK.

Also, if you are anywhere near Dawson City, YT try to be there June 21 & 22 for D2D. (check the Alaska section for details)

Sorry if you already covered D2D...I looked at the pics in this thread but didn't read all the posts....

Bride and broom on a trike , the broom walked out of the church with a beer in his hand...

From 1980 to 1990 I lived at lake Atitlan and since then in Guate City; my wife was born in Guate.

I have been to Lake Atitlan... beautiful area. Beautiful country in general. My wife's family still lives in Guatemala City. She was just there in January to visit them. We are hoping to buy some property around Rio Dulce someday for retirement.

Good luck on this journey to Alaska! What a great trip.

pic size

Julio-
You might try to resize your images before uploading them to photobucket.

I use image resizer. It's a simple tool and let's you resize images in batch. What I do is I resize the pics (creating a copy of the originals with a different name. don't worry, the tool does it automatically for you) then I upload those resized pics to photobucket. That way, not only do your pics all show up uniformly as the same size but the uploads take a lot less time due to the decrease in image size. Once I finish uploading those pictures I delete them from my hard drive leaving the originals in tact.

I resized one of your pictures for you as an example.

Hope that helps.

Resized to "large" setting (1024x768)

Resized to "Medium" (800x600) (my preferred size for my RR's)
