Zion

The ride from the North Rim to Zion was short but hot. And again we got lucky with the camp ground : At the entrance there were several cars and RVs standing in line in front of a big sign , saying Campground Full . A man walked up to us and told us that there was one site still available,he explained us where it was and so we went around the line, rode in and claimed our spot .

By now it was noon and it was hot as hell. As soon as the tent was put up , we took the shuttle up to the higher end of the canyon . The sight was impressive

The campground didn’t have any showers , but with a river like this next to it, who cares ??

And this was the view that we had at night out of our tent…

Next morning I went for an early sunrise ride up the canyon

Hola Armando. Me llamo Ignacio.

Bryce

Bryce….I love it !!! It is so different, it reminded me Xilitla and Sir Edwards James, places where the bizarre and nature meet . In one case man made , in the other by mother nature . It is kind of difficult for me to explain certain things in English, maybe my pictures can do a better job
On our way from Zion to Bryce

And this is Bryce

And again we got a great tent space with an amazing view

The next morning I went for one of my usual sunrise hikes and this is part of what I saw

Bryce and Zion are absolutely amazing! You are probably already through but the Bear Paw Cafe in downtown St. George is my favorite restaurant of all time!

Great Photos and Trip!

Eddie & I are heading there in 3 weeks and your pictures and descriptions are getting me super excited to see these beautiful canyons!

You keep referring to the heat, I can only imagine how hot it will be in a few weeks though, and we have some concerns about finding camping spots during 4th of July week. But I'm not opposed to cowboy camping so long as there is a nice river nearby.

Have you seen much wildlife while camping? Scorpions, rattlesnakes, coyote, ginormous spiders?

In the North Rim you should be fine with camping, there is free camping in the National Forest right before the park.
Wildlife just squirrels and deer.
You will love it, looking forward to pics and RR
Buen viaje !

Thumb Moab

Two days ago we left Bryce and we were headed for Moab, where I finally would get my new tires . And there comes an other great experience of this journey : Fellow ADV rider colomtnbiker , a guy that I have never met personaly , told me that we could use his vacation home in Moab . It’s just amazing how much help we got on our way from different people and how much this influenced our journey . We will be in debt for a long time , but these will be some memories that we will carry with us for a long, long time .
Thank you so much colomtnbiker for your hospitality , muchas gracias !!!
