I'll be there in less than 3 weeks, and looking at that picture is starting to freak me out, specifically the hairpin with the dropoff about midway in the photo

Assuming everything stays on target, the GuateRiders should be chilling up in Boulder County Thursday night.

If the timing works out, I am putting together a little gathering of riders at Lucky Pie in Louisville. Any inmates who wish to join are welcome. Right now, we have seven or eight confirmed.

Another great place to see in the Moab area is Arches, Natural Park
Nice rock formations and lots of arches obviously

And of course Utahs most famous arch

And the next morning, once again, was the moment to leave a place where we felt really comfortable . Thank you , Rick and Chris

Thumb ADV Spirit

Once again, here in Colorado Springs we experienced the great bound of ADV Riders . A fellow inmate, _CJ, invited us on our first night in town to beer and wine and he offered to pick me up the next day from the BMW shop and to drive me out again, once my bike would be ready. And that’s not just around the block, it is a 25 min drive during his working hours .

Thank you so much Carl , we really appreciated all your help and drinks ;-)

Not a problem. It was nice to meet you both. Hopefully, Luisa's day of shopping didn't require a new bag to be added to the bike.

Good luck and have fun on the rest of your adventure.

Pikes Peak

Today we spent one more day in Colorado Springs ; there were still a few things that we needed to do here and our host in Boulder was also busy today ...so everything worked out fine .
In the morning we met the fellow ADV rider Infracaninophile ; he has been all over the country and more then once so he was a real great source of information . Thx Tom for your time and the maps !!

While we were saying goodbye to Tom in his frontyard , all of a sudden these fellows walked by and went into his neighbors garden

From there we went up to Pikes Peak , the sky was blue and the view was very impressive

And then we saw something that we never ever see back home

Then there was the peak

Laugh Thank You!

My two boys, Ike (9) and Eli (7) have been following along with me each night as we read your story at bedtime. We love the pictures and can't wait until we can ride the open road together (only 7+ years to go).
