you might wanna let us know what you want them for. if its mostly street then you can go with the commercial aluminum jobbies and look cool - even the Gobi from KTM are good I hear. but they die if you go off road alot and crash.

soft bags seem to be the ticket for more off road fun. Dirt Bagz here in the USA are big, or you can get Andys Bagz from Aussie-land for the same price - they look tough! not sure why soft bags have to end in "Z"?

if you are a DIY fella then you can get a good rack and some Pelican cases - lots of info on that w/ the search function. the Pelicans are Nie-invulnerable if you really want hard cases. just make sure you use a break-away mount system (like jimjib's) so a crash doesnt tear up your bike/rack or both!

oh, and post pics of your orange glory ya jerk!

Yea....what Meat said. And fill out your profile, or at least tell us where you are located. It makes recommendations so much easier...

nope, no soft bagz () come with racks that I know of; I ran some soft bags on my LC4a last weekend and they were fine, although I was worried they wanted to send the rear quarter panel into the exhaust, and they did scuff the finish on it

lots of racks out there, KTM, happy trails, i haven't dug thru them? any consensus on the best rack for the LC4s?

So the price comparisons between dirt bagz and andys bagz is not taking into account that you'd need to buy some kind of LC4 racks for andys bagz.

You are correct Sir!

And the Dirt-Bagz site shows a special $199 price right now...

Turns out I'm at the $2k limit. My self-preservation instinct won't allow me to give them bank info.

you could always set up an online account for this type of stuff. only put money in there when you are going to use it... lots of banks have free checking accounts.

I've thought about that, but I've heard stories that even an account in the same bank can be drained. So it would have to be another bank. Hrm, maybe. Then again, I hear you can start a fresh account with a new ebay name or something.

how did we all get into this mess.
