just got a email back!!

Hi Marty,

Unfortunately the 150/70-17 E-09 Dakar is still in pre-production and stock is not yet available to us, which means that we are probably looking at July or August as the earliest possible arrival dates for this size.

We do have the E-10 in stock, which is generally a better tyre it has superior grip and traction both on-road and off, as well as far better highway performance. However it will wear a little faster than the Dakar, and is slightly less aggressive in really soft terrain.

Let me know if I can be of any further help.

Regards,
Neil

Shoulder is still sore but will give it a go. Yes that is my cruiser, good thing goes like hell uses no oil but slurps fuel with the trailer and bike on at 140 + = 17 lts /100 km. Its done a bit over 100000 km still good as new.

Just fitted 6.2 kg front springs, re packed steering head bearings, pulled out rear shock linkages and swingarm and re greased the lot. Had a ride down a rough track and the difference is really noticable, no bottoming and less dive under brakes. The springs are available from Krooztune and they come with fitting recommendations, oil levels etc.

so.. time to eat my own foot...

how are these things going.. looking for a lighter (around 200kg) weight bike after the S10.. I hated these things when they were first released..thought the build quality was worse than the Loncin.. umm I mean BMW 800GS.. but they have grown on me.. and I dont mind them too much now..

any major issues besides the whole "stalling", farting", "keep on restarting every 10m" issue that is apparently now sorted..

there really is no other option between the F800 and the 800XC...

everyone happy with theirs I suppose ???
