A clear adjustable extension will likely be included as part two. The fairing would be a great compliment to the nice cushy seat on the XR.

I've seen this fairing in person and it's a quality product! Nice fit & finish and the lights are awesome.

I'm definitely getting one for my XR when they're available.

I have my fairing paint ready to go, and the stator output on the 450EXC is 150w IIIRC. Should I be looking to upgrade before making daylight?

You should be ok, unless you want to run the heated seat and grips at the same time

As of now, I'm recommending the model 30 (for street intentions) for the low beam (that's the same single light Dave (gingerbeard) has on his KLX). The model 30 has a tighter beam so it will minimize blinding of oncoming traffic. It only uses 10watts at full power and probably less than 3watts when dimmed.

Maximum wattage with 2 Model 60s is 65 so you can make daylight!

Now this thing is really growing on me. I have an XR650L and was thinking 30 light for low beam and 60 for high beam. Is this possible? Also would it be possible to get it using the factory mounting points? I can send pics of my mounting points and some measurements. Also could I get the lights ready to just plug into my stock light plug? Sorry lots of questions, but this looks like a GREAT idea.

Yes, any combination of our proven LED lights will work.

This may be an issue. Please send some pictures and measurements (width between the upper mounts and distance from the the leading edge of the forks)

Yes, I think the XRL uses a standard H4 connector?
