Confirmed. The fairing will need a bit of trimming.

Gen 2 KLR

Anyone out there put one of these on a Gen 2 KLR? Been planning to change out the fairing and crappy headlight on the KLR and like the look of this on the Gen 1. Wondering if i could still use the stock instrument cluster and just remove the fairing frame the old fair mounts too and just do a fork mount or use the old mounting tab from the fairing subframe thingy???

Already running dual model 30s as fog lights and really can't wait to upgrade to a model 60/30 headlight setup!

The headlight mask mount on my new-to-me DRZ400E looks a little different than what was previously posted in this thread for the DRZ400S.

I don't have a bracket like these:

I just have a single rubber mount on each fork tube:

And it mounts to the middle bolt under the headlight like the 400S:

What do I need to mount up the fairing to the DRZ400E?

You will need at least a pair of these fork mounts. I would recommend mounting the bottom of the fairing to the fender using nylon bolts.

If you want to move the fairing higher 2 sets of the fork mounts will work.

The fairing will fit on the WR250R. Requires removal/replacement of the front fender with one that has a flat top. Similar to this

Question

What's the total cost of the fairing plug and play with the 60 lights included for say, an XR650R?

You can check pricing on our website www.advmonster.com.

Typically $300-400 depending on light, mounting and controller options.

Why the flat top? Do you know where I can find a picture of one mounted on a WR250R?

Thanks!

The stock fender has raised sections that integrate in the stock headlight housing. This additional height puts the fairing too high, where it could get in the way when riding off road. This is my experience with the CRF250L which has a bit higher raised sections on the fender than the WR250R.

I do not. However I'll offer you a money back guarantee if you don't like the fairing
