North Carolina Honda, Suzuki and Arctic Cat Dealer

Hello everyone,

For the past year I have been working behind the parts counter at Sanford (NC) Honda, Suzuki and Arctic Cat and I have been debating the best way and how I can get some information out on some store specials.

We are not an multi-store high volume dealership but from time to time we get the opportunity to pass on some good buys.

Currently we have Continental Motion Sport bike tires at better the Motorcycle Superstore prices. You can get both front and rear for less then $190, not including tax.

I have the following sizes in-stock, Front 120-70ZR-17 and Rear in both 180 and 190-70ZR-17.

If you have an tire your loyal too let me know what it is and I'll see if I can get it at an competitive price.

For the Mega Scooter crowd we just took an 2009 (I think it is an 2009) Suzuki 650 Burgman in on trade that has less then 4k miles on it and it has an transferable 4 year extended warranty. The last I heard it was going to be listed for $7995.00.

The previous owner traded it in on an 2012 GSXR1000!!

I have all in stock HJC and Scorpion Helmets on sell also at 20% off.

Well maybe I can generate some interest and get some other AdvRiders in the store!

Okie

Great Okie! I'll sure drop by sometime if'n I am down that way and I'll try to steer some business your way too. What about small parts that are easily shipped?

We ship Tuesday through Friday through UPS.

After 20+ years in the Air Force I was not prepared for a life in retail! I do have hope though; in the last 3 weeks the sales guys have sold three 2012 VStroms and two DR 650's and one XRL! So the Adventure/Dual-Sport market isn't dead.

Honestly 4-Wheeler's sales not motorcycles sales keep the place open.

Everytime I went in there looking at dual sport bikes, they are all gone! HSA of Sanford seems to sell more adventure bikes than most other stores its size. That Burgman looks cool, but the wife wouldnt ride itI think this thread is a great idea Okie

I have been asked about some of the Helmets we carry. I can get Shoei and Arai just hard to stock an $600.00 + helmet when it seems the majority of local riders complain about an $60.00 half-shell!

We are currently stocking HJH, Scorpion and Icon helmets.

This is a sample of the current stock.

HJC IS16 Spector in XL normal price $199.00 discounted to $159.95 (Drop Down Visor)

HJC CL-16 Slayer in XL normal price $139.99 discounted to $111.99

Icon Alliance in XL, normal price $160.95 discounted to $128.06

Scorpion Hollywood (I call it the Stripper Pole Helmet) in XL normal price $229.95 discounted to $183.96

Update on the individual who traded the Burgman for the GSXR1000. Well when I talked to him he was looking at the GSXR but turns out he decided on a HAYABUSA!!! Road it away from the store at 6:30 pm on 24 Feb, came in this morning (25 Feb) to look at some gear seems my price on riding pants was too high and he left. Called at roughly 11 am needing a trailer because he justed wadded it up in the middle of Sanford! He is bruised but ok the Busa has at least $5k in damage.

If your looking for an Modular Helmet I have the HJC IS-Max in Black, Flat Black and Silver in stock in M, Lg, XLg and XXlg.

Retail is normaly $214.00 and I will sell them to inmates for $171.99 plus tax. The price may vary a bit with the sizing but I believed I priced the more expensive one for example.

These are DOT approved not SNELL rated.

Pete

I don't stock those and will look tomorrow and see if I have a source for them.

A little late notice but tomorrow (Saturday, March 10th) everything in parts not already discounted will be 15-20% off, kinda of a Pre-Daytona sale. If it is something I have to order it will be regular price but all parts, helmets, tires ect... will be sale priced.

On another Note we received our first V-Strom Adventure today. We where told we would have them by the end of February but the first one showed up today. In an wonderful bit of planning by Suzuki the VStrom Adventure models are shipped without the bags and key parts to make them the Adventure. Those items will be shipped seperate and we haven't received any of the Suzuki bags yet.

We have at least 6 of the NC700 ordered and deposits on 2 already.

Do you have any dual-sport/street tires like 120/70-17 front and 150/70-17 rear?

And where exactly are you located again? Or did I miss that?
