More gear failure, my wolfman saddlebags decided to melt a little after running like this for nearly 20k miles. Burned a hole in the bag and my spare front tube. Made a patch of duct tape and wrapped the canister with the busted tube. So far so good.

Um... which is it?

Loving it... those are the glass mountains rising in the distance.

Halfway to saliva and about halfway to the ferry...

I think skierd may be coming by my place in the Seattle area in 11 days or so, so any Seattle area WA ADV'rs want to meet up with him as a group give me a holler. HF kinda sent him my way, eventually, who knows where those 2-wheels will take him...

Sorry to hear of the gear failure Dave, if you're visting ramz in CO, you're in Wolfman country (well sorta, Longmont is 175 miles from Salida...), maybe they can fix you up...

Yup right now im shooting for the 27th to get up there.

Maintenance day in salida Colorado courtesy of ramz. New tires chain sprockets oil change and took time to wrap my exhaust can with heat wrap and a heat shield to stock my bag and my rubber fix from melting any further.

I can't get over how little there is out here between towns!

I'll never willingly cross the plains again on a bike that can't pull past 65mph in a headwind.

But it was worth it... sunrise salida

All fixed up and ready to ride

Looking like not so great weather the next two days...
