Hi Dusty!

It depends on the elevation. When I left Rosamarada at about 8:00 this morning it was 66, but it will get into the 90 there during the day. It is located below 100 feet. It will be cooler in the mountains, I hope! The moto has used about a half a quart or less in 1,900 miles. Works for me! I will change it at 2,500 to 3,000 miles. Glad y'all are having good weather there.

Donnie

Many of the side streets are of cobble stone.

Notice the hand crank. Must have been set up for a partially disabled person.

I saw a guy riding one of these this morning in a different town.

Meet Arturo with the white hat.

We talked as we ate lunch. In almost total Spanish I might add. Arturo handles money collections for the town water and sanitary systems. The average bill for water and sanitary is less than $20US per month. That is about a third of what mine is at home. I also met his 80 year old father, who was in very good physical condition!

After noon it got quite warm. Some of the shops closed and the streets become much less crowded. After watching the people traffic for a while and talking Mexico with a bank employee, I finally did what they did, I went to my room and took a siesta! And then got up and started walking again.

I was looking for a taco stand, but by 6:00 they were all closed! I started over to a place I had eat the previous night and ran across a place that appeared to be more of a bar than a restaurant, but they made me Juevos Rancheros. I have eaten this all over Mexico and they are never cooked the same, always something different. I like that differences! This was an excellent version tonight! I talked with the two ladies running the place for quite a while. Meet Elisabeth and Suzy along with Suzy’s son. They, as most folks you talk with have never been more than a few miles from Rosamarada.

I had planned on getting Madison a small locally made doll in each country. All of the ones I found were made in China. I told the shop lady that I would buy Madison a doll made in China when I was in China. She did not have a "Hecho en Mexico" doll, but she made these flowers as a gift from her to Madison. Now the challenge is if I can carry them two months and 8,00 miles without crushing them. This picture just may have to do!

For those that want to know. I spent a total of $300 pesos today, including the hotel. That is less than $25US!
