I called the hospital and talked to Steve. He had surgery on his shoulder today. He's in good spirits and his wife is with him. He probably wouldn't mind a visit from any of you that live close by.

I plan on riding down to the winery one of these days to thank them and to buy a case of wine. I don't drink wine, so I'll give it away as gifts.

Novice trying to gun through the stream and not letting off the throttle when control was lost. Bigger question is, how did the handle bars land on the far side. Must have done a barrel roll.

In addition to all the help Deb & Bob provided us on Sunday morning, when we went back on Monday to load Steve's bike onto the truck they gave us each a bottle of their hard cider/wine to take home with us. Good people. I'll let you know how it tastes Mark!

I will definitely be stopping in to see them as I ride through Benton to next years Smokin' Hole.

If you bring that case to the BYOB/Marlinton, WV you'll win the popularity contest.

Love to listen to the rumble of the exhaust in the first one.
One gets a feel for the track and the ride.

I do like John Denver singing about West Virginia but in another time and place.
