Yep, good times.
Hell, even traffic was smooth both ways.

EG and I were thinking ( -- hazardous, we know -- ), and we decided that it would probably be more fair if the choice of venues was passed on to someone new each beer meet. The only requirement would be that the person had attended the previous meet. And that person picks the next person, and so on.
For example, EG and I collaborated on the last meet, so we decided VonHelm could pick where the next meet would be held (still sticking to the general N/E/S/W orientation, of course). And afterward, he'll pick the person who chooses the southern locale. So, VonHelm -- which hotspot in east DFW shall we overrun on Friday, May 4?

I'm moving back to DFW...
Sold the house in Lubbock and am under contract for a home in 76177 zip code. Glad to see there are some DFW inmates being social and making things happen. Here in Lubbock I am active in the Lubbock Trail Riders Enduro Club. Moving away from the club is hard. I'll need a support group of dual-sport buddies to help me through my transition period
.Are there any plans for a group ride? Regardless, please include me in on the plans via PM, Email, Carrier Pigeon, whatever the preferred method may be. Cheers, Jeff aka: Zugg Zugg |

This is me subscribing to a thread. The first Friday in may is already taken drinking beer and camping at Ghostrider1964's ranch (look for the thread in the regional area). Any chance we can change that date?

Well, I'm certainly honored to be picked, but I know nothing about east DFW. In fact, no disrespect, but I try to avoid Dallas like the plague, if at all possible. My "turf" for going out at night is limited to about a 10 mile radius of DFW airport. 35W - 35E, north of I-30, and south of 635 is about my range limit. I'm afraid that I must politely decline.
Certainly there must be someone here much more qulified than myself with east DFW.

I'm still around. But since my big accident/awesome left turner guy that almost killed me and the subsequent surgeries and physical therapy, I still havnt bought another bike. I'm slowly getting my piece of shit cb750 going so I can stop by sometime. It just doest feel the same driving to the beer meets. |

Ok. Davheed brings up a good point.
Let's adjust May's meet to Friday the 11th. Lexington - your venue, madam!
