We won't be able to make it.
We will be riding in Spain and France in July. Bman, what about the parrilla ? Are you going to try it again ? This time don't follow my instructions and leave the meat pretty close to the fire.......

InShaLa, I'm having a hell of a time breaking loose from Venezuela, I think I have a problem or something.
Angel Falls is worth the trip to Venezuela alone, well it plus Sapo which is probably the better of the two, but damn what a nice time. See what happens, still have to put a clutch in the poor ole 1150 or it just might be a KLR if I can swing it, it's still way too cold way down South![]() John setting up shop in Cuidad Bolivar for a time Polar Cervasa por favor!

What, did you convert to Islam or something?
I bet Angel Falls was epic, lets see the pics, get crackin on that Ride Report! With 7 cents a gallon 95 octane, my guess is that you'll never leave VZ.

LA meeting
I'll be at MOA and ALARR. I'll be on a DR, KLR, BMW. Never been to SA and looking forward to learning more about the good, bad and ugly. Oh, I could truck up the WR250. No, that thing sucks too much petrol.

I'm heading to MOA probably on Thursday with a friend from NE. He wants to hang out in the area of the Airheads tent. Maybe we can hook up.

Just you and me, babe.
![]() Kind of slim pickins so far but I'm going to start advertising it on some other regional forums in the next week. Don't you go backing out on us now. I'm really looking forward to hearing about all your adventures since we last got together. You've led a much more exciting life than I have recently.

![]() Still got a lot to take care of between now and then, might just have to truck the little XR up there if I can't get the clutch and rear subframe fixed on the ole mule, or a KLR .Greetings from Caracas.

The farmhouse has 4 bedrooms. Camping is still an option. We could do a water crossing, and camp on a hill beyond the creek.

Ken and I had a good run at this so far, would be a shame to let it end: ![]() We will see, I hope to book a flight before July 4th so I can attend the lake for one of my favorite holidays ![]() ![]() And then get to repairing a bike or something...If not Venezuelans are really going to think something is seriously up down here on the 4th

As for the parilla, on Monday last week one of my neighbors slaughtered a prime Angus steer. The locker company aged the carcass for 8 days. Yesterday, the packaged half of him for me. I've got about 365 pounds of meat to pick up today.
365 pounds! So far, I've got 66 steers and one heifer running around the 179 acres. None of them are quite ready. The biggest are only about 700-800 pounds right now. Not quite big enough.
