From what I understand they make down to a 39 or 40.

I've got a 44 hard parts stealth coming, but they're on backorder until the 25th.

DID NEW X2-Ring series: D.I.D has redesigned the shape of the X-Ring to maximize wear resistance of the new 520ZVM2 and 525ZVM2 chains. These two models have also been beefed up in tensile strength to make them the ultimate chains for today's high performance sport and sport touring motorcycles. The new X2-Ring retains all the low friction, high performance characteristics of the standard X-Ring while providing a significant increase in wear resistance and overall life of the chain.

This is the shizzle.

Currently I run a 45T stealth with either a 16 or 15 front with a chain 2 links longer than stock. I like the wheel positioned as far forward as possible, and this doesn't work so well with this combo. So I ordered a 44T rear such that 44/15 would barely fit with a stock length chain. What is it, 110 links, I think.

That's my goal anyhow, to get between 2.75 and 3.00 ratio and with the wheel as far forward as possible. Wish it were easy to calculate. Not sure all LC4 swingarms are the same length. On mine, I know that 45/15 was just shy of working comfortably with a stock chain.

on the way into work today i checked some gear rpm speeds for ya; i need to try again on the way home as they seemed to slip out of my brain... so this is a placemarker for later:

stock gearing and chain/sprokets

IMO set to 21"

modified breathing/carb (this should matter right? - HP changes this eh? )

rear tire a 25% or more used Michelin Desert/ front a MT17 (15% or more used)

no i don't have a measure on the rear circumference...

anything else pertinent? flat ground? no wind? bonneville salt flats?

4000 rpm
1st - ~20+
2nd - ~30+
3rd - ~ um...

5000 rpm
4th - ~60-65
5th - ~70-75
6th - (I wish)

what is your desire loaded?
