Idyllwild trail ride 3/11

I am planning a ride it anyone wants to join us.
The orginal date was for Saturday but I changed it to allow for some riders who couldn't make it Saturday.

Ok here’s the plan….Ride day is Sunday 3/11
Meet at JR’s Family restaurant at 8:30am come a little earlier maybe 8:15 if you want to eat.
We will plan to leave at 9am sharp…
Address :
JR’s family restaurant 41833 State HWY 74 Hemet ca 92544
(951)658-7932
Next to daily donuts in the Stator bros shopping center.
The ride starts at Bautista canyon. We will turn onto the Hixon trail and down to the Alesandro trail. Head up Thomas mountain then into Idyllwild for lunch and gas. From there we cruise through Pine cove down and around some fire roads and down Bee canyon. Then to rouse ridge and down the widow maker trail (I named this trail). Then back to the trucks.
About 100 miles..!! With gas at the mid point.
Should be a good full day ride at mellow pace.

Let me know if you can make it .

See ya then…..

I grew up in Hemet, wish I could make it. What is the widow maker trail? Otherwise sounds like a great trip.

Now this sounds like fun. I don't know if myself and a friend can make it for sure yet. Notice will be on the short end most likely. I haven't riden this area before so I am very excited.

Ya gotta give to get

Anyone who takes me up on this has to buy me a beer if they put a foot down.
You gotta ride it out all the way down....

You bring some Coors Light and I will bring some twenties...
I will have my Go Pro rolling and I will get my smug mug account going to post the results.

This is going to be good..!!!

Thanks for the interest guys

Well to keep this fun and moving along...
I believe we need to cap this ride at eight riders.

So The first eight riders are in..

Maybe we could roll in two groups but this is a long and technical ride and I would like to do the whole thing.

So everyone make sure your bike is in good working condition.
This ride could be up to 110 miles if we do the longest route.

There are alot of pavement bail outs along the way if you cant keep pace,

Everytime you put your foot down you buy me one beer. Seems fair

If you fall your out owning x (amount of beers) beers.

I will bring 3 $20's up for grabs...A chance for three riders to go home with 20 bucks...
and a chance for me to fill my refrigerator.

If you are one of the first three to make it to the bottom and put your foot down twice = two beers for me $20 for you.
Bring your beers in your truck with you and we will settle up at the end of the day. Coors light....

Standard disclaimer......and you will be filmed...

That is the game players........

Jerry,
Sounds like a great ride, been meaning to ride out in the area for quite a while. My friend Sal & I are up for a good long ride if we can, bike has been gathering dust since sweeping LA-B2V and the riding itch is getting bad!
