Room for one more? This sounds like fun and I've been planning on a ride up there anyways.

For what it's worth, if you don't mind me joining your duo group that you seem to be developing, that'd round it out at 7 riders if you split it straight down the middle according to your most recent "in-list". Though I've never ridden up in that area, I'd certainly like to meet some folks and get an appreciation for the terrain up there. Hell, you don't even have to include me, I'll just follow you all at a respectable distance!

This is going to be my last post before this ride

It seems like we have a lot of newer riders (or at least new posters)

Just wanted to say that this ride is for experienced riders with single track bikes and skills.

Hixion and Alesandro trails are no joke...and the last time I did the Widowmaker I had to walk my bike down about 100 feet.

So....It's your call on the bike you choose.
We with be moving at a good clip and will be covering about 100 miles.
Just saying......

But I am looking forward to meeting some new local riders.....

in regards to this, if there is a squid group that doesn't want to hit the ST they can bypass hixon/alessandro(stay on Bautista Cabyon), and your widowmaker(go down Rouse Hill)

but then we would all laugh and point

Cool. Looks like I'll be there. Maybe plus one if he's up for it. He's not a squid, but still a bit green. Plus his bike is tall and his legs aren't.

Well this got out of hand quick.

Going to be interesting. Guys please don't try to be the cool guy and show everyone what you can do on this trip. This is a chill experienced rider trip. The last thing we want is to have someone get hurt trying to hang on these trails.

This will be fun but if you have never been on these trails, this is probably not the best time to do them.

Not trying to put anyone down at all, just want everyone to know what they are in for.

Well if my newbie friend comes along we wont be running the whole trail route. Probably just a few trails and bail.
