Link to sidecar ride reports

Don't think this has been done? Post links to sidecar specific ride reports / day trippin here?
Maybe a sticky?
Or am I going to be merged?

My most recent, from Day Trippin:

I find that the adventures with Barley I post in the Hack forum don't get nearly the exposure that those posted in the mainstream fora get. And since any trip is never 100% hack-specific, I post mine there to take advantage of locals' recommendations while the trip is underway. Many a time fellow inmates have followed my progress and suggested alternative routes thru their home turf. I've yet to be disappointed.

Loved your RR, btw.

Yo Tripod!

If you wish to make up a list, post it up & keep it up by editing the first post & let's see how it goes.

I'll think you'll find that it is a huge chore & making the cut for reports that don't quite measure up is a real pain along with the grief from the folks that think their report should make the list & you don't.

BUT if you want to give it a shot, great.

Hi, how is the tiger with the TKC tyre, does it grip better in the dirt? Good to see you are getting out on Trek!

Tarka's got the idea. Put the story into 'Ride Reports' or 'Day trippin', as usual. Then post a link in 'Hacks' so those that miss the thread in the main list, can find it. Same as the Australia page, does.

There was never an intention of me trying to identify all the sidecar stories and linking to here. No way, Jose! I'd never get anything done, other than reading ride reports. I'd never get any riding done.

One reason is that we don't type 'sidecar' or anything similar, in the ride report heading.

Each of us will prefer a slightly different type of riding too. I love the idea of the snow rallies - probably becasue we don't get any opportunity to do such things. I also love putting my fingers to the keyboard and sharing stuff I've done. But people from OS would have no idea of where Major Clews hut is etc.

If it kicks along, fine. If it doesn't, no harm in trying?

NB the notion is 'sidecar specific', so I wont be putting a link to anything involving other bikes that I have, rides that I've done.

No, to go back and have a look at Tarka's threads...

It's bloody good. I think it may wear out more quickly than the Avon Speedmaster MkII (how many years was that on there?)
